Processing Eye

This subroutine display a small window with a series of buttons that flash on and off every second. It basically appears to be a large eye that would commonly be associated to a robot. It is used to indicate to the operator that some sort of function is actually being performed. It offers a [Cancel] button that can be used to signal the calling application to stop what it is doing.

  • Lets the operator know that the application is busy doing something so they don't panic, or try other functions
  • Provides the operator an opportunity to stop a given process from proceeding
