Company Profile

Sentinel Hill Software is a software developer of general and specialized business applications for medium and large size companies. We provide solutions consisting of products and services to meet the the needs of corporate accounting requirements. This includes a full range of account applications, language porting services, application migration services and software developer libraries.

Sentinel Hill's products and services can reduce the time and cost associated to developing new applications, or migrating Classic text screen applications to a Windows graphical environment.

Software solutions and expertise is offered utilizing Acucorp ACUCOBOL-GT^® language for both UNIX and Windows based operating system environments using ORACLE or Acucorp VISION file systems.

Sentinel Hill Software is an Acucorp Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and member of the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.

Sentinel Hill Software's founder and President is Larry Carlsen. Mr. Carlsen has years of experience as a software developer, systems analyst and systems' reseller for a number of environments and programming languages. He has been the primary author of assorted software financial applications including Inventory Management, Order Processing, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Invoicing, Project Costing and WEB User Access systems. He has also managed or written a variety of other software projects including operating system components, a Basic Compiler, real time processing control systems, automated typesetting systems, a Membership system, a word processor and language porting utilities. He has been working with ACUCOBOL-GT^® since 1992, and is an ORACLE Certified Application Developer. Mr. Carlsen has also made a number of presentations at past Acucorp conferences.
